Supply Chain Systems Manager

SUMMARY:The Supply Chain Systems Manager helps achieve supply chain operational objectives. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager - Fiber, you will work closely with the supply chain, operations, commercial and IT teams to support the Sales, Inventory, and Operations (SIOP) processes. As an integral member of the team, you will be involved in areas of sourcing, inventory planning, logistics, distribution and ERP optimization and integration. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned. • Analyze data to maximize supply chain efficiency and minimize costs• Develop, implement and manage supply chain processes and solutions• Lead ERP system integrations• Develop, establish and provide for the maintenance of reporting systems related to supply chain functions• Conduct network optimization reviews• Prepare reports and lead review of SIOP• Coordinate data and information from multiple facilities in several countries with multiple ERP systems• Maintain close, co-operative relationships with key internal customers including customer service, product development, manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales etc.• Review processes and procedures across the entire supply chain to determine optimization opportunities• Monitor and analyze materials and packaging market trends that affect division products. • Develop, establish and provide for the maintenance of reporting systems that relate to the job functionRequirements• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience required, or equivalent training and work-related experience.• 5+ years of manufacturing experience required; fiber, plastics, food, pharma, medical packaging experience is preferred. • 5+ years with ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, Sage, BAAN, etc. • Experience operating or implementing SIOP processes• Experience with dashboard and reporting tools like Power BI, Qlik, etc. • Thorough understanding of materials management, operations, production planning, scheduling, freight contracting and warehousing required. • Experience in procurement, using ERP systems and inventory control measures/tools required.• Computer skills required for multiple graphs, reports and charts. • Computer literacy / advanced Excel, bolthires and Outlook skills required. • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast pace environment required. • LEAN Manufacturing knowledge preferred. • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. English is required. • Familiarity with food/product safety standards, GMP's, 3rd party auditing certifications is a plus. • Experience with software implementations and continuous improvement project initiatives related to customer satisfaction, product improvement or process optimization is a plus.• Travel up to 25% required with travel outside of the US.
