Sr. Technical Salesforce AdministratorSchedule: Hybrid (2 days on-site)About the RoleOur client is seeking a highly skilled and independent Sr. Technical Salesforce Administrator to join a newly established Scrum team focused on a critical new section of our dealer portal related to Vehicle Remarketing and Sales. This is a challenging and pivotal role that requires deep technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to own the Salesforce administration function for this specialized team.As the foundational Salesforce expert for this new initiative, you will be responsible for managing a complex Salesforce environment characterized by intricate automations and significant data challenges. You will be the dedicated 100% Salesforce focus administrator, driving the technical build-out and maintenance with minimal disruption to existing teams. Key Responsibilities• Own the Salesforce instance for the new Vehicle Remarketing and Sales dealer portal, ensuring system stability, scalability, and performance.• Design, build, and maintain complex custom solutions and advanced automations (Flows, Process Builders, etc.) to support business requirements, moving beyond out-of-the-box configurations. • Independently troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues within existing automation flows, configuration, and data integration challenges. • Collaborate constructively with architects, product owners, and future team members (developers, QA) to define technical requirements and ensure robust, well-designed solutions.• Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for all Salesforce administrative functions within the new Scrum team, managing configurations, user profiles, security, and data integrity. • Contribute to the team's growing knowledge base and participate in cross-training/shadowing with the broader Salesforce organization to ensure coverage and knowledge sharing. Must-Have Requirements• 5+ years of extensive, hands-on experience as a technical Salesforce Administrator in a complex environment. The role is 100% focused on Salesforce.• Demonstrated experience as a Senior-level Administrator, capable of working entirely independently and taking ownership of technical challenges without disruption to others. • Certified Salesforce Administrator certification is required. • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proven ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues within complex declarative automation and data setups. • Significant experience in building custom declarative solutions and understanding when to customize beyond standard, out-of-the-box products.• Working knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) systems is required, though direct experience building custom CPQ-like solutions is a plus. Nice-to-Have Skills• Advanced Administrator certification is strongly preferred. • Experience or deep understanding of building custom engineering solutions from the ground up, especially in contexts where standard products were not leveraged. • A strong-minded and confident communicator who can effectively engage with architects and strong team personalities, asking detailed, challenging questions in a professional and constructive manner to ensure optimal design and implementation.Apply tot his job
