This role requires an experienced leader given the complexity and size of the business with over $150MM in sales. This position reports the Director of Medical Marketing and it is key for the long-term development of the brand ambition. The applicant will bring her/his Face Care and skincare expertise to become the driving force and point of reference for the category.She/He will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business and identify new opportunities for growth via white space and innovation. RESPONSIBILITIES:• Contribute in long-term brand strategy development for existing & new categories, including collaboration to identify opportunities with Dermatologists, Pediatricians, and other target HCPs in disease state areas and clinical data to support brand growth and profitable success• Strategic and conceptual advancement of product portfolio, with solid focus on Dermatology relevant innovation• Collaborate strongly with global Medical Management teams to bring clinical relevance, Impactful Medical Sales support materials and integrated digital impact based on local market• Identify and change direction quickly based on local Dermatologists’ needs• Be the medical marketing leader and point of contact with all cross-functional (internal) teams including Consumer Marketing, Retail Sales, Finance, Supply chain, HCP Research, Shopper and customer marketing and external medical communication and creative agencies• Define & steer market research plans aligned with strategic business needs• Implement Marketing plans and executions to meet brand’s objectives• Develop communication platforms and creative via briefings, workshops, and agency collaboration• Develop and manage medical activation via brand integrations, media plans, personal and non-personal medical communication, digital channels and medical convention• Partner with Shopper & Customer marketing/Trade Marketing teams to secure successful implementation of medical marketing activities in key channels & customers• Budget Management development and accountabilityREQUIREMENTS:• BS/BA in business or marketing within a medical related field.MBA with a focus in Marketing a plus• Minimum of 5 years brand management experience in Medical, B2B, Prescription or OTC and minimum 5+ years of medical sales experience• Start-up mindset capable to excel in fast-paced and uncertain environments• Well-versed and familiar with medical and skincare trends• Understanding of skin and the science of skincare, as well as, experience with the Professional/Key opinion leaders (dermatologists, doctors, and pharmacists)• Experience working with Medical Sales Representatives and Managers• Strong knowledge of marketing principals, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.• Experience in financial analysis and strong skillset in P&L, SOI, and Budget management• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, comfortable to interact with C-level executives. • Must be results-oriented, organized, demonstrating the ability to influence and motivate others without direct line supervision• Proficient knowledge using MS Office suiteWe know that experience comes in all forms and we’re not necessarily looking for individuals who can hit the ground running (‘check all the boxes’) but may bring a unique blend of competence and capabilities that can grow into a role and/or bring news skills to the team.Beiersdorf North America Company Culture Highlights• Winner of Comparably's Award for Best CompanyCompensation 2021• Winner of Comparably's Award for Best Leadership Teams 2021• Winner of Comparably's Award for Best Places to Work in New York 2021• Beiersdorf North America is ranked in the top 5% of companies forCompensation on Comparably. • Product Department is ranked in the top 5% of companies for Overall Culture on Comparably.
