Position: Software Architect (remote)Overview14136 – Software Architect (remote) — Austin, TXStart Date:ASAPType:Temporary ProjectEstimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensionsWork Setting:RemoteRequired• Hands-on experience in software development, evolving through legacy platforms to current technologies (20 years);• Experience with legacy asp and asp.net web applications (20 years);• Experience with SQL Server and database design, entity framework, schema design, stored procedures, SSRS (20 years);• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, Typescript, CSS, and JavaScript (15 years);• Experience with unit testing frameworks and tools, with proficiency in writing unit tests using nUnit framework (15 years);• Experience with Crystal Reports, including older and newer versions (10 years);• Experience with ASP.NET Core for building RESTful APIs (5 years);• Experience in redesigning legacy asp and asp.net 3.5 framework applications (5 years);• Experience in making web pages ADA 504 Compliant (2 years).Preferred• Experience working with Texas government agencies across several projects (2 years);• Experience with ArcGIS Software (1 year). Responsibilities• Maintain and troubleshoot legacy systems, including classic ASP and ASP.NET applications;• Migrate legacy web applications to modern, compatible frameworks;• Develop, maintain, and enhance classic ASP and ASP.NET web applications;• Architect and optimize database schemas; write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures;• Build and maintain Web APIs using.NET Core with an understanding of RESTful principles;• Modify legacy applications to meet 504 ADA compliance standards;• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a fast-paced production environment.Vitaver & Associates, Inc. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job
