SEO/SEM + WordPress Web Design/Development Specialist (Sports Industry)

Cal South — the official state association for US Soccer and US Youth Soccer in Southern California — is seeking an experienced SEO/SEM and WordPress specialist to lead a strategic refresh of our website and marketing performance. Our goal is to improve how our digital presence supports player and team registrations, event participation, and overall community engagement. This role will focus on strengthening both organic and paid performance. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy, including keyword planning, metadata optimization, internal linking, schema enhancements, page speed improvements, and backlink outreach.In addition, you will manage and optimize bolthires Ads campaigns with a strong emphasis on reducing bolthires-per-acquisition and increasing ROI for our events and registration-driven objectives. A critical part of the project will be enhancing the UX/UI of our WordPress website to improve navigation, accessibility, and conversion paths. We want families, coaches, referees, and partners to quickly find what they need and take action with clarity and confidence. Tracking and performance reporting will be essential, as we expect detailed analytics, insights, and recommendations through GA4, Search Console, and other relevant tools.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate meaningful results in SEO, bolthires Ads management, and WordPress development.
