Senior Online Logistics Analyst Location: RemoteAnnualSalary: USD 120,500Job Overview:As aSenior Online Logistics Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the supply chain operations of our e-commerce platform. You will analyze logistics data, develop strategies to enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination between various stakeholders involved in the supply chain process. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and e-commerce operations and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Key Responsibilities:• Logistics Data Analysis:• Conduct comprehensive analyses of logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within the supply chain. • Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into key logistics metrics, such as shipping times, costs, and inventory levels. • Supply Chain Optimization:• Design and implement strategies to optimize the end-to-end supply chain, from procurement to final delivery, focusing on reducing costs and improving service levels.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, warehousing, and transportation, to streamline processes and eliminate bottlenecks. • Develop and execute initiatives to improve order fulfillment speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. • Vendor and Partner Management:• Manage relationships with key logistics service providers, including third-party logistics (3PL) companies, freight carriers, and warehouse operators. • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality service from vendors.• Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards and expectations. • Inventory Management:• Oversee inventory levels across multiple warehouses and distribution centers to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs. • Implement inventory forecasting models to predict demand and adjust stock levels accordingly. • Coordinate with procurement teams to replenish inventory promptly, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.• Technology Integration:• Work closely with IT and software development teams to integrate logistics management systems with the company’s e-commerce platform. • Evaluate and recommend new logistics technologies, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS), to enhance operational efficiency. • Ensure all logistics processes are fully automated and scalable to accommodate future growth. • Compliance and Risk Management:• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including customs and trade compliance, environmental regulations, and safety standards.• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain, such as natural disasters, political instability, or supplier insolvency. • Maintain detailed documentation of logistics processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across all operations. • Continuous Improvement:• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging logistics and supply chain management technologies.• Provide training and mentorship to junior logistics analysts and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. • Reporting and Communication:• For senior management, prepare detailed reports and presentations on logistics performance, cost analysis, and supply chain optimization efforts. • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align logistics strategies and objectives. • Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss logistics challenges and collaborate on solutions.Qualifications and Skills:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) is highly desirable. • Experience: At least 7 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, focusing on e-commerce operations. Previous experience in a senior analyst or managerial role is preferred. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics management systems (LMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI).Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and integration technologies is a plus. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on meeting deadlines and achieving results.• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs and priorities. • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
