Job Summary As aSenior Manager, Self-Service Engineering at JetBlue Airlines, you will play a critical role in leading the development and delivery of our self-service engineering products and services. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, developing product roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of products from inception to retirement, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and consistency Lead and coach a team of engineers, including Leads,Senior Engineers, and technical leads, to ensure the team is motivated, developed, and equipped to deliver exceptional results Establish and promote a culture of engineering excellence, focusing on innovation, technical growth, and product goals Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to develop product visions and roadmaps Develop and maintain technology roadmaps for products in your area of responsibility, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability Drive the development of policies, standards, and guidelines for building and supporting IT products Establish structures, design and integration plans, and guide software development performed by team members Develop, maintain, and report on financial and resource plans for your area of responsibility Serve as the escalation point for operational support for assigned portfolio applications with continuous availability Manage production and non-production environments through change control management Ensure work practices are aligned with all audit, security, and regulatory requirements Partner with other Engineering Managers to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies Play a critical role in driving and coaching direct and indirect team members to support the engagement, growth, and development of the IT organization Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; or demonstrated ability to perform work responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of relevant experience Active experience with Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS Working knowledge of cloud computing: Azure, GCP, or AWS Available for moderate overnight travel (up to 35%) Must be in control of valid travel documents with the ability to travel throughout the US Able to work flexible hours and be available for crisis response without prior notice Must pass a pre-employment drug assessment Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located Authorization to work in the US is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications Experience managing a budget Experience managing a full project or initiative, including presenting recommendations to senior leadershipComprehensive knowledge of business functionality and detailed knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies Familiarity with JetBlue's IT disciplines and interdependencies and how their needs drive IT strategy What We Offer At JetBlue Airlines, we're committed to providing our team members with a fun and engaging work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a comprehensive benefits package.As aSenior Manager, Self-Service Engineering, you can expect: Competitive salary: $25/hour Opportunities for career growth and professional developmentComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and holidays Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options A fun and engaging work environment with a passionate and dedicated team If you're a motivated and experienced engineering leader looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Please submit your resume and a cover letter explaining why you're the perfect fit for this role.
