Senior ESG Reporting Lead

About the positionResponsibilities• Lead the development and execution of Vanguard's global ESG reporting strategy, including the preparation of annual sustainability reports, disclosures, and other relevant documentation. • Manage ESG reporting projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope. • Oversee the collection, validation, and analysis of ESG data from various departments. Ensure data accuracy and integrity. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and industry groups, to communicate Vanguard's ESG performance and initiatives.• Ensure compliance with relevant ESG reporting standards and frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and others. • Identify opportunities for improving ESG reporting processes and implement best practices. Requirements• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field. • MS/MBA highly preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience. • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a reporting environment. • Proven project management experience, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks, or ability to quickly learn. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience with reporting software. • Strong problem identification and resolution skills. • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients. • Ability to interact effectively with senior management as well as various levels of staff and management across the organization.
