Senior Cloud QA Engineer
About the positionResponsibilities• Lead test strategy, design, and automation for complex, cloud-based products and microservice platforms. • Design and maintain automated test frameworks (Python required) to validate cloud infrastructure, APIs, and wireless solutions. • Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, integration, regression, and performance scenarios. • Evaluate designs and test implementations for alignment with cloud best practices and secure development standards. • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated tests into bolthires/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).• Validate applications deployed on AWS and/or containerized environments such as Docker/Kubernetes. • Troubleshoot and analyze production issues, logs, and metrics using tools. • Participate in code reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and testability. • Guide QA engineering teams on automation practices, cloud tools, and WiFi test methodologies. • Evaluate new test technologies and drive adoption of modern QA tools, including performance and chaos testing frameworks. Requirements• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.• 7-10 years of experience in quality engineering with at least 3 years in cloud-native application testing. • Proven experience in developing automated test suites in Python for cloud platforms. • Strong programming and scripting experience in Python (mandatory). • Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM). • Expertise in test automation frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or custom-built Python frameworks. • Experience in API testing tools such as Postman, REST-assured, or custom scripts.• Proficiency with container and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred). • Familiarity with WiFi protocols (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) and testing access points/cloud-managed wireless solutions. • bolthires/CD automation experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar. • Strong understanding of microservices, cloud networking, and distributed systems architecture. Nice-to-haves• AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or DevOps Engineer). • Experience with performance testing tools.• Security testing knowledge (OWASP, static/dynamic analysis tools).
