[Remote] UX Researcher - Must Reside In Charlotte, NC Area

TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, seeking a UX Researcher to join the Experience Design Research Team at LPL Financial. The role involves developing research plans, leading user research, and presenting findings to cross-functional teams to enhance user experience for financial advisors. Responsibilities• Develop research plans, workflows, user task analysis, personas, journey/experience maps, process flows, and service blueprints• Lead in user research through every stage of the product lifecycle; planning and running usability studies, analyzing data, conducting heuristic evaluations, facilitating and moderating workshops, and performing low to high fidelity usability tests• Present findings to cross-functional teams and negotiate trade-offs between business goals, technical challenges, and customer experience• Coordinate and take direction from the lead researcher to the assigned area of focusSkills• 3+ years of user experience research experience• Service blueprinting or process blueprinting experience• Experience with qualitative research• Skilled in moderated interviews, unmoderated usability tests, surveys (we use Qualtrics), and other foundational UX research methods• Manage end-to-end participant engagement—including scheduling, communication, and logistics—to align with research timelines and learning goals.• Advanced Excel skills to help with analysis and representation via pivot/charts• Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience• 3+ years of experience related to user experience research & analysis, ideally in complex or regulated industries. • 2 plus years of experience working on a project team and meeting project timelines while managing competing Priorities• Proven ability to navigate and manage complex, high-stakes business relationships with discretion and professionalism. • Communicates research insights in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.• Strong strategic thinking skills as well as tactical execution. • Excellent collaborative skills working with multi-disciplinary teams. • Able to hit the ground running, with the discernment to pause and ask the right questions to ensure strategic alignment• User experience research methods• Experience with tools such as User Testing, Jira, Confluence, and Figma• Experience working in agile / pod structure• Familiarity in financial services is a bonus• Experience cultivating strong cross-functional partnerships by aligning research objectives with business priorities.Benefits• Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Company Overview• At TEKsystems, they understand people.
