Role Summary:An award-winning outsourced accounting, tax planning strategy, and growth advisory firm is seeking a skilled Tax CPA to join their fully remote team. The role supports firm leaders, staff, and clients in driving business growth and maintaining an accurate, efficient back office.Responsibilities:• Assist with new client onboarding and product adoption• Advise clients on data migration and accounting best practices• Communicate regularly with business owners and management to establish performance expectations• Assess internal control environments and implement process improvements• Prepare budgets by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommend plans and corrective actions• Forecast short-term cash needs and assist in managing costs and cash flow• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and plans• Prepare special financial reports and summarize trends as needed• Support continuous professional development and maintain technical knowledgeQualifications:• CPA license (non-negotiable)• 5+ years of U.S.tax compliance and planning experience• Experience with both large and small businesses and high-net-worth individuals, including multi-state filings• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance• QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor with strong integration experience• 2-5 years of experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop• Advanced Excel skills (DSUM, DCOUNT, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Functions, Macros)• Familiarity with accounting software such as TurboTax, Bill.com, Expensify, Webgility, Hubdoc, Xero, and NetSuite• Excellent communication and client management skills• Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environmentCulture &Benefits:• Fully remote, flexible work environment• Collaborative, growth-minded firm focused on leadership development• Technologically forward-thinking with emphasis on efficiency and innovation• Commitment to building a culture of accountability where CPAs and clients thrive together Apply tot his job
