About the Opportunity Work from home while making a meaningful difference in students' functional mobility and motor development. This remote PT position serves students requiring support with gross motor skills, mobility and ambulation, balance and coordination, strength and endurance, and adaptive equipment assessment. Therapists typically maintain 35-37.5 hour work weeks, providing direct services, team collaboration, and professional documentation. Core Functions Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in virtual settings, utilizing creative assessment approaches adapted for telehealth delivery. Develop individualized treatment plans that address students' motor goals while supporting educational access and participation. Deliver engaging therapy sessions through secure video conferencing platforms, incorporating activities that motivate students and address therapeutic objectives. Collaborate regularly with educational staff, families, and related service providers to ensure cohesive support. Document student progress meticulously using data-driven approaches. Participate actively in IEP team meetings, contributing PT expertise and recommendations. Provide consultative services regarding classroom modifications, adaptive equipment needs, and activity accommodations. Maintain compliance with state regulations, professional standards, and documentation requirements. Qualifications Required Candidates must hold valid Ohio Physical Therapy licensure and possess a Master's degree in Physical Therapy or DPT. Two years minimum of school-based experience is mandatory, with pediatric experience across various age groups and diagnoses. Strong clinical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and ability to work independently are essential. Previous teletherapy experience is advantageous but not requiredwe provide support for therapists new to virtual practice.
