Your daily duties will include:• Packing Operations: Accurately pack pre‑produced plug components into designated containers following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. • Quality Assurance: Perform visual inspections of each packed unit, verify quantity and labeling, and report any defects or inconsistencies to the supervisor.• Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain automated packing machines, conveyor belts, and related machinery; conduct routine checks to ensure proper functioning. • Documentation: Complete shift logs, production counts, and quality check sheets; input data into the plant’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) accurately. • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety briefings and drills. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements, waste reduction, and efficiency gains; share suggestions with the Kaizen team.• Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift leads, maintenance crews, and downstream logistics partners to maintain seamless workflow. • Inventory Management: Monitor raw material levels in the packing area, perform cycle counts, and alert inventory control when replenishment is needed. • Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the packing station tidy, follow 5S principles, and ensure all tools are stored properly at the end of each shift. Essential Qualifications• High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional technical training or certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, Certified Production Technician) is a plus.• Minimum of 12 months experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging environment, preferably with night‑shift exposure. • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret work orders, packing instructions, and safety signage. • Basic math skills for counting, weighing, and verifying product quantities. • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lb regularly, and perform repetitive motions safely. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.• Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace that meets ergonomic and safety requirements for remote monitoring. • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
