I-485Remote Business Immigration Attorney We are currently seeking Immigration Attorneys to prepare and file I-485 applications to help clients register for permanent residence or adjustment of status. The role of US Immigration Attorneys is complex and requires specific personality traits. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, working with clients from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, and is comfortable with handling various employment-based visa types. Although this role is remote, candidates must reside in one of the following states: Requirements Diligently prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover lettersThis includes preparing petitions with in-depth knowledge of the application process and requirements, specifically in I-485 applications for permanent residence or adjustment of statusManage various projects and deadlines, and prepare and revise documentsBe able to explain legal terminology to clients succinctly in a timely mannerResearch unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisionsStay up-to-date on legislative changes that may affect immigrationDevelop solutions to complex legal questionsProvide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and updates about new immigration laws and regulationsPartner with colleagues to share information, resolve client issues, and support all client projectsPossess the skill set to assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the U.Work with esteemed global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel.This will involve preparing petitions and applications for submission to the Department of Labor (DOL) and the respected United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for non-immigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employeesSupervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation to ensure no mistakes are madeBenefits Possess a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school, demonstrate a strong academic background, and be admitted to a US state bar in good standing1-2 years of experience with I-485 applicationsBilingual in Mandarin is a plusStrong time management and attention to detail, alongside the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm settingAbility to independently work on daily tasks, proactively, and with minimal supervisionWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.#J-18808-Ljbffr Corporate Immigration Attorneys Apply tot his job
