[Remote] Cloud API Platform Engineer (Apigee X & GCP)

Novia Infotech is seeking a skilled Cloud API Platform Engineer to lead the setup and ongoing management of Apigee X within their bolthires Cloud Platform environment. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing Apigee X environments, as well as collaborating with various teams to ensure secure and high-performance API delivery. Responsibilities• Design, deploy, and manage Apigee X environments using Terraform and GCP best practices.• Integrate Apigee X with GCP load balancers, Managed Instance Groups (MIG), and Private Service Connect (PSC) for secure and scalable northbound proxying. • Configure and maintain southbound connectivity from Apigee X to secure web proxies within GCP. • Develop and maintain API proxies in Apigee X, applying appropriate policies for security, traffic management, and transformation. • Build and optimize automated bolthires/CD pipelines for proxy build, deployment, and promotion across multiple environments.• Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and developers to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performance API delivery. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on Apigee X and GCP integration topics.
