In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers:• Shift Differentials: $2.60 nights, $2.00 weekends, $1.10 afternoons, $1.00 Specialty Certs, double-time incentive shifts, plus flexible shifts/self-scheduling• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus flexible spending, and health savings accounts• Competitive paid time off and extended illness bank package for full-time employees• Income-protection programs, such as life, accident, critical-injury insurance, short- and long-term disability, and identity theft coverage• Tuition reimbursement and 401(k) matching• Employee assistance program including mental, physical, and financial wellness assistance• Professional development and growth opportunitiesQualificationsMinimum qualifications and requirementsApplicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred).Additional Requirements Include• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)Essential Functions• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. • Documents patient care given. • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
