About the positionResponsibilities• Provide a range of nursing and mental health rehabilitation services. • Follow up and participate in the mental health-related medication prescription, administration, and monitoring. • Crisis assessment and intervention. • Symptom assessment, management, and individual supportive therapy. • Assist in the treatment of substance abuse for consumers with co-occurring addictive disorders. • Psychosocial rehabilitation and skill development. • Interpersonal social and interpersonal skill training.• Education, support, and consultation to consumers' families and/or their support system, which is directed exclusively to the well-being and benefit of the consumer. • Provide an average of 5 billable hours per day. • Comply with applicable regulations of the Dept. of Behavioral Health (DBH) and the District of Columbia Board of Nursing. • Document all consumer services in Credible (the electronic health record) the same day of service. • Attend QI meetings and clinical rounds, as appropriate. Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.• Licensed as an RN in the District of Columbia. • Five years of clinical experience in a health care setting/organization. • Relevant experience and expertise in physical health care. • Experience treating/caring for consumers with serious mental illness. • Driving is required. Must have a valid local license and clean driving record. • At least 75% of consumer face-to-face contact will be in the community. Apply tot his job
