Providence Health Plan is calling aSenior Privacy Analyst, HIPPA Investigations who will:• Work as a Lead HIPAA Privacy Investigator• Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of investigating and resolving privacy breaches related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy regulations as well as other state and contractual requirements• Play a critical role in ensuring compliance within the context of health plan operations to protect the privacy and security of our member’s health informationWe welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States: Washington, Oregon and CaliforniaRequired qualifications for this position include:• 3+ years demonstrated successful and progressive staff and/or management experience• 2+ years demonstrated successful experience working with administrative, policy and/or operational aspects of HIPAA/privacy regulations, preferable in a managed care environmentPreferred qualifications for this position include:• Bachelor’s Degree in HIPPAA Compliance, Healthcare Administration or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience• Advanced degrees or certifications such as Certified Information PrivacyProfessional (CIPP) or Certified HIPAAProfessional (CHP)• Experience with HIPAA compliance, healthcare administration, or another related field of work• Extensive knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations, breach notification requirements, and related laws and regulations, specifically within the health plan contextWhy Join Providence?Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally and achieving financial security.
