This role will focus on energy transition financing matters and is available in multiple U.S.offices. The position provides the opportunity to work on internationally recognized projects, including cutting-edge financing deals in the energy transition sector. Key Responsibilities:• Counsel clients on complex energy transition finance transactions, including financing and M&A of energy projects and companies. • Structure and negotiate tax equity financing and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters. • Collaborate with financial institutions, investors, and corporate clients to develop innovative financing solutions.• Provide regulatory guidance on structured finance in the energy sector. • Manage transaction lifecycles from due diligence to deal execution. • Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to support energy and infrastructure clients. Qualifications:• Education: JD from an accredited law school. • Bar Admission: Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction where you are applying. • Experience: Minimum 9 years of experience in energy transition finance matters. • Prior experience handling tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization is required.• Experience at an Am Law 100 firm preferred. • Strong analytical, writing, and business judgment skills. • Excellent organizational, communication, and management abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Work Environment:• Hybrid: Regular in-office presence with flexibility for remote work.
