Product Operations Consultant

Title: Product Operations ConsultantLocation: 100%Remote (Eastern Time Zone)Type: ContractRate: $41 per hourEducation: Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is requiredSupport of client’s growth strategy and organizational transformation projects by:• Standing up new systems to support life insurance products• Delivering new and innovative life insurance products on a state-of-the-art policy platform• Designing and developing automated testing processes to support the implementation of life products• Engaging with third-party administrator (TPA) to identify and resolve life product issues• Execution of test plans on the policy administrative systems and product illustration systems• Developing, testing, and maintaining Excel spreadsheet calculation tools• Providing oversight of TPA processes and procedures involving product calculations• Analyzing business requirements, product specifications, policy contracts, annual statements, and supplemental reports to justify implementation decisionsRequirements:• Education and experience equivalent to a four-year college degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or other related field is required• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) is preferred• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail• Ability to understand and interpret technical written material• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for delivery to a variety of audiences• Learning mindset, focus on continuous process improvement• Effective use of technology and ability to navigate complex virtual environments• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel• Experience with individual life insurance.Apply tot his job
