Principal Product Manager – Customer Data Platform Innovation and Strategy Leader for Blithequark's Digital Transformation Journey

At the heart of this transformation is the development of a world-class Customer Data Platform (CDP) that will empower the organization to make data-driven decisions, drive product-led growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.As a key player in this journey, we are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Principal Product Manager to lead the CDP roadmap and drive its success. About the RoleThe Principal Product Manager will be responsible for building and driving the CDP roadmap, reporting to theSenior Director of CDP & Identity. This visionary leader will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Servicing, Sales, Fraud, Marketing, and UX, to understand use cases and segmentation needs.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer needs, be able to define priorities, and inspire the broader team to deliver best-in-class experiences and enabling capabilities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate those needs into user stories for Data & Analytics, technical, and engineering teams Develop a comprehensive CDP implementation strategy aligned with overall product and customer success goals Identify new data sources and onboard existing data sources to the CDP Evolving our identity resolution models (deterministic and probabilistic) Build and run queries to answer questions and build segment and build solutions for users of CDP to be able to self-serve Be the CDP subject matter expert, gathering information to create accurate, informative, and resonant user stories for both the business and the data team Help build the product roadmap, define user stories, and drive trade-off decisions Identify new products and features on behalf of the customer, leading 1-2 scrum teams to align on mission and deliver great results iteratively Leverage qualitative and quantitative data to measure results, inform the roadmap, and achieve benefit, adoption, and financial results Collaborate with Sr PMs, Analytics, Engineering, and Business Leaders to drive scalable data solutions Present effectively to high-level stakeholders, set clear priorities and direction, and build bridges across groups Own the product end-to-end by developing business models, defining and analyzing success metrics, and managing strategic projects Champion and educate product managers and lines of businesses on what the blithequark CDP can do for their business Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and related experience with 7+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, with 4+ years in managing Customer Data Platforms Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in an iterative development environment 4+ years on a CDP, Reverse ETL, Data Warehouse, or Integration-as-a-Service product Alignment-building expertise - you listen, understand, and influence at a near-executive level Fluency with concepts like unique identifier, API, ETL, etc.Data proficiency - you can source, analyze, and present quantitative and qualitative data Excellent writing skills - you write clearly and concisely, favoring plain language over jargon Initiative - you take ownership of problems when next steps aren't clear Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Insurance industry experience An Engineering backgroundCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates.As a Principal Product Manager, you will have access to: Ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge Mentorship and coaching from experienced leaders Opportunities to work on high-impact projects and contribute to the company's strategic goals A collaborative and dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and creativity Work Environment and Company Culture Blithequark is a company that values collaboration, innovation, and customer obsession.
