Overview:The Principal Insight Consultant plays a critical role in delivering strategic value to Prodege's clients by leading complex research engagements and shaping data-driven insights that influence key business decisions. Acting as a trusted advisor, this senior-level individual contributor drives client success through superior research design, actionable storytelling, and impactful presentations. In addition to delivering high-quality work, the Principal Insight Consultant collaborates with sales and client teams to support business development, mentoring junior staff and strengthening the overall research offering.Success in this role directly supports Prodege's reputation for excellence, innovation, and consultative partnership. Detailed JobDuties:• Lead the end-to-end execution of complex custom research projects, including quantitative and qualitative methodologies. • Partner with clients to understand business needs and translate them into high-impact research plans. • Design questionnaires, sampling plans, and analysis strategies that yield actionable results.• Develop and deliver compelling reports and presentations that connect insights to client goals and commercial strategy. • Act as the primary research expert in client meetings and strategic discussions, offering methodological guidance and business acumen. • Collaborate with Sales, Client Management, and Account Directors to contribute to proposals, client pitches, and project scoping. • Review and refine proposals to ensure appropriate methodologies and value-added insights are positioned. • Present findings to stakeholders across various levels, including research teams and senior executives.• Mentor junior team members by providing coaching, feedback, and guidance on best practices and research design. The MUST Haves:• Seven or more (7+) years of supplier-side market research experience shaping data-driven insights• Demonstrated success in leading custom research projects from design through delivery• Strong quantitative research skills; comfort with qualitative methods is a plus• Exceptional storytelling skills-ability to extract insight from data and present findings clearly and persuasively• Effective communicator with confidence presenting to senior-level client stakeholders• Experience collaborating with sales teams and contributing to proposals and pitches• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment• High standards of professionalism, attention to detail, and research integrity• AI comfort, usage, and familiarity with daily work and tasksThe Nice to Haves:• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field• Master's degree or MBA preferredPay Transparency:The anticipated base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $128,000.The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location.
