About the position Responsibilities • Drive business process evolution on new or optimized processes supporting end-to-end operations. • Create or update processes partnering with Verizon operations, VGS technical teams, and 3PL warehouse vendors. • Create business requirements for changes in technology tools and work through design, testing, training, and implementation. • Work in a cross-functional and cross-organizational environment to facilitate and deliver business solutions. • Understand operational business processes and opportunities across Global Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Sustainability. • Lead executive statuses and updates at various levels. • Conduct, design, and build business process models based on best-in-class operations. • Identify, own, and drive resolutions to gaps in lifecycle delivery processes. • Strategically roadmap to support multiple projects in parallel. • Lead and guide cross-functional teams to create and deliver complex, integrated solutions. • Create and deliver training to end users. • Develop, train, and transition to production support teams after implementation and stabilization. Requirements • A bachelor's degree in an engineering or construction related field. • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience, or specialized training. • Experience in supporting SAP tool suites (ECC, S4 HANA, Ariba, IBP, CAR, MDG). • Experience in leading cross-functional teams with an understanding of business and technical requirements. • Experience in vendor management. • Experience managing large-scale programs with end-to-end accountability. • Experience using Google G-Suite Applications and Microsoft Office Applications. Nice-to-haves • Master's degree. • Knowledge of systems development life cycle within a large global enterprise environment. • Ability to manage and balance business and technical requirements. • Five or more years of successful experience with strategic solutions and/or systems integration design. • Experience in communicating highly technical solutions to business partners in a simple manner. • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities. • Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organization, and project management skills.
