Job Title: Pharmacy Technician - 100% REMOTEJob Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician at Elite Job, you will play a pivotal role in our Clinical Review team, contributing to the efficient functioning of our pharmacy utilization management program.Your responsibilities will include screening prior authorization requests, organizing documentation, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reviews. Key Responsibilities:• * Screen incoming pharmacy prior authorization requests, ensuring all required documents are complete. • * Organize and distribute prior authorization requests for review by pharmacists/physicians. • * Utilize vendor tools to create, process, and track prior authorization requests effectively.• * Collect relevant medical information via various channels and apply appropriate criteria for prior authorization. • * Adhere to decision-making timeframes, promptly escalating cases requiring pharmacist review. • * Document all communication and decision-making processes comprehensively for reference and audit purposes. • * Communicate prior authorization outcomes professionally and accurately to stakeholders. • * Maintain professionalism and accountability in all interactions with teammates, providers, and members.• * Participate in quality improvement activities and stay updated on regulatory requirements. • * Provide support for regulatory audits and assist in preparing for expansion into new markets as needed. • Required Skills andQualifications:• * High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. • * Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, with knowledge of pharmacy operations and terminology. • * Familiarity with pharmacy prior authorization processes and relevant software applications.• * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. • * Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to delivering high-quality service. • Experience:• * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related role preferred. • Working Hours:• * This position offers flexibility with remote work arrangements. • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• * In-depth understanding of pharmacy operations and prior authorization processes.• * Proficiency in using computer software and vendor tools for managing prior authorization requests. • * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a remote team setting. • Benefits:• * Eligibility for Medix Benefits Program after 30 days of employment. • * Choice of medical coverage options, including supplemental dental and term plans. • * Opportunities to enroll spouses and/or children in the Benefits Program. • * Additional benefits such as vision coverage and short-term disability.• Why Join Elite Job: Joining Elite Job offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based practices.
