Key Responsibilities Data Acquisition and Management: Gather, organize, clean, and control large-scale, high-dimensional data from various sources using tools like PySpark and advanced SQL.Automated Analysis: Build automated, scalable, repeatable, and integrated analysis using modern big data architectures in data ecosystems, such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Google Big Query. Advanced Analytics: Apply sophisticated analytics techniques (data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning) to identify patterns and uncover opportunities in complex data sets. Campaign and Product Analysis: Conduct campaign, product, content, and audience analysis for business needs, developing and tracking key metrics to measure success.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to complete data projects, contributing to solution discovery, design, build, and QA, and effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a quantitative field. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proficiency in scripting tools like PySpark/Python/R and SQL. Data analysis and visualization skills using various tools and technologies. Strong time management with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications and Skills To take your application to the next level, consider the following preferred qualifications: Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, or k-means clustering.Experience reporting data requirements, rules, and assumptions. Experience with data mining in distributed systems like Databricks/Google Big Query/Snowflake. Experience working with large, transaction-level datasets and interpreting data trends from diverse data sources. Passion for music and/or media industry data! Knowledge of music streaming services (Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music, YouTube), social media platforms (TikTok, FB/Instagram), and emerging technologies (digital assistants/voice).
