Oracle/SQL DBA

Job Overview:• Highly skilled in Oracle PL/SQL, 8+ years• Advanced understanding of: Oracle Developer, PL/SQL, ETL, Plusses: Python, Docker, Shell Scripting, S3, Lambda, Control-M, AWS• Design, Develop, implement, and support data processing environments using SAS, Oracle PL/SQL, Transact SQL, and scripting languages including Unix shell scripting and Python• Analyze the impact of changes to various source systems of Compliance controls• Create Functional Requirements Documents, Detailed Design Documents, Data Sourcing Documents, and Unit Test Plans• Diagnose production issues, design, and create remediation, and work with Production Support to test and deploy fixes• Perform performance testing and tuning of various SAS components• Working with the compliance department to define business requirements and translate them into technical designs.• Resolving complex technical problems• Expect occasional travel. Qualifications:• Must be public trust eligible• 8+ years of hands-on IT experience in design and development of complex systems. • Experience migrating on-premises databases to cloud infrastructure• Experience designing extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes using PL/SQL and Python• Experience creating SQL scripts using Python to transform data into cloud data warehouse• Experience managing Azure/AWS platforms under federal compliance guidelines• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.• Must be able to work well with other team members to accomplish technical tasks and overcome technical challenges. • Ideal candidate should also possess following skills:• Innovate at short notice• Business Communication and project management• Business Analysis and requirements evaluation• Vendor relationship• The ability to independently research and resolve issues and implement preventative measuresEducational Qualification:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent• Certification in Oracle / SQL preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per yearBenefits:• 401(k)• 401(k) matching• Dental insurance• Flexible spending account• Health insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Retirement plan• Vision insuranceExperience:• Oracle: 10 years (Preferred)Work Location:Remote Apply tot his job
