Need ASAP Interim FT CFO/Credit Union/Remote

Salary:Charles River CFO, Inc. has an immediate need for an experienced, interim, CFO for our client in the credit union industry. This is a remote position and the client is located in Michigan. The client may request an onsite visit at times. MUST HAVE: CFO experience within a $1Billion + credit unionPosition Details:• Schedule:3040 hours per week• Location:Fully remote• Duration:4-8 months commitment• Start Date:Immediate needResponsibilities:• Oversee all financial and accounting aspects of the credit union, including financial reporting, asset-liability management (ALM), risk management, budgeting, regulatory compliance and internal controls• Provide leadership, direction, and advisory services to internal staff• Assess the accounting and finance function of the Credit Union.Offer recommendations for best practices andprocess improvements. • Implement change as directed by the Credit Unions leadership• Perform other duties as requiredQualifications:• Bachelors degree in accounting (required)• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience• CFO experience within a $1Billion + credit union• Systems used: Symitar (Jack Henry for Credit Unions)• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work• Adherence to client policies and procedures• Team-oriented and client-focused approachAbout Charles River CFO, Inc.Founded in 2003, Charles River CFO, Inc.
