The Digital Workplace Technology Engineering (DWTE) team is seeking an Engineering Solutions Manager (ESM) to manage a portfolio of digital applications. As the Engineering Solutions Manager for Intranet Applications, you will collaborate with stakeholders, manage various CMS platforms, oversee video streaming technology, and more. You will also identify opportunities for streamlining workplace technologies, championing end-user experience, and contributing to product roadmaps.We want to hear from you if you are a passionate problem solver with a strong background in product management, presentation development, technology, and architecture. Basic Requirements:Specific solutionsExperience:• 8+ years of experience in software development and project management. • 3+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful solutions. • 5+ years of experience in developing presentations and end-user documentation/ C-level. • Background in video/live stream technology.• Experience in Leading the engineering, strategy, and platforms focused on video-on-demand and internal event live streaming. • Supervise diverse CMS platforms for event logistics, email outreach, and our signature campus mobile app. • Handle key enterprise communication and event tools, such as Attendees, Campaign Monitor, and Emma. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the application meets the needs of our organization. • Work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders to understand new features and initiatives.Identify opportunities to rationalize and streamline workplace technologies. • Commit to the continuous evolution of applications, aligning them with our organization’s dynamic needs and feedback. • Collaborate closely with UX/UI professionals, ensuring all intranet platforms are intuitive and user-friendly. • Conduct end-user feedback sessions with different groups across the Enterprise to gather insights. • Pinpoint and implement opportunities to streamline and consolidate our workplace tech arsenal.• Design and regularly update product blueprints, anticipating changes that could influence the end-user experience. • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to stakeholders and engineers. • Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships in support of delivering enterprise-wide Mobility solutions. • Ability to execute within a fast-paced agile process. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent years of experience. • Strong project management skills, including developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.Desired Characteristics:• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate ideas and proposals through information and presentations. • Ability to communicate effectively and thoroughly explain complex problems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience managing the development and implementation of Intranet applications. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsThis position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.Learn more about the benefits offered by NBCUniversal by visiting the Benefits page ( of theCareers website.
