Position Title: Museum Gift Shop & Outreach Assistant (Part-time) Job Category: University Staff Employment Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Job Profile: Special Activities Helper JobDuties: Under supervision, perform a wide variety of services which support the day-to-day operations of the museum; instructs and/or assists museum visitors engaged in various outreach programs; support involvement of UWSP students in museum operations and programming.This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, with an anticipation to begin in December 2025 and go through to the end of June 2026. Full position description is available upon request. Key JobResponsibilities: Department:The Olson Museum of Natural History is located in the center of the UWSP campus in the Science Building. The museum offers a variety of on-site field trips and programs for the community about nature and science topics. Currently the museum is rebuilding all of our exhibits in our new location below the Planetarium.The first exhibit to open will be the rock and fossil exhibit, along with a discovery room, and a gift shop. UWSP students, from all areas of study, work and volunteer for programming, special projects, coursework, and events.
