If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love turning complex data into actionable insights, we’d love to hear from you!This position reports to the Group Chief Technology Officer and will sit in our Beverly, MA office on a hybrid schedule.Key Results AreasData Management: 75%Maintain metadata records for all titles published by Quarto US imprints.Maintain/enforce data style guides and metadata critical path timelines.Train users of data management tools.Create/maintain metadata records for US distributed titles and all ebooks.Audit/report: scheduled updates and special reporting as needed.Manage data feeds/ONIX from Firebrand to Hachette, Edelweiss and others.Work with Hachette data teams to ensure Hachette data is up to date and distributing correctly.Monitor Amazon and resolve metadata/cover art issues as needed.Work with IT as needed to build/fix/test architecture of data management tools.Ebook Distribution: 20%Manage CoreSource relationship: data/file storage and ebook/SITB distribution.Distribute all Quarto ebooks to appropriate trading partners.Monitor/audit distributions to ensure each partner has the collateral files and metadata for all appropriate titles.Monitor/report/analyze ebook sales.Manage copyright infringement issues using LinkBusters tool and other takedown methods.Provide requested copies of digital files for students with disabilities.Personnel Management: 5%Supervise Digital Publishing Manager.Position SpecificationsMinimum Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesRequiredData management experienceDesiredBook publishing experienceFamiliarity with ONIXQuartoUS is an equal opportunity employer; M/F/D/V are encouraged to apply.Full-time employees are eligible for our comprehensive benefits program.
