Legal Volunteer – Cyber Law & Child Protection
Operation PedoHunt (OPH) is a voluntary, civilian-run cyber coalition focused on combating online child abuse. Through digital investigations, decoys, and open-source intelligence (OSINT), we aim to detect, document, and report predatory activities to platforms, hotlines, and—where legally possible—to law enforcement agencies in a responsible and compliant manner. Role Overview:We are seeking passionate and committed Legal Volunteers to support our legal department. This opportunity is open to licensed lawyers, law students, and law enthusiasts who want to contribute their expertise—or their interest in law—to protecting children online.Whether you are an experienced legal advisor or someone eager to research legal frameworks, your contributions will have a direct impact. Responsibilities:• Provide guidance on laws relating to cybercrime, OSINT, child sexual exploitation (CSAM), child protection, and online content regulation. • Review case materials to ensure compliance with relevant laws and reporting standards. • Conduct comparative law research across jurisdictions to support OPH operations and evidence collection. • Assist in developing policies, compliance manuals, and training resources for OPH divisions.Qualifications:• Open to certified lawyers, experienced legal professionals, law students, or those with a strong interest in legal research. • Demonstrated interest in cyber law, child protection, and online safety. • Ability to interpret and communicate legal information clearly. • Commitment to ethical practice and safeguarding vulnerable communities.
