About the positionGrammarly is looking for a Legal Analyst to join our Legal team. This individual will help advise on cutting-edge legal issues, build a world-class legal infrastructure, negotiate important commercial agreements, and collaborate closely with our vendors and partners. The role involves triaging a high volume of daily contract-related inquiries, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various supplier and vendor contracts, and responding to inquiries regarding terms in existing contracts.The Legal Analyst will also work with the Legal Operations team to support the use of technology tools and contribute to developing and maintaining contract templates and negotiation playbooks. Responsibilities• Triage a high volume of daily contract-related inquiries. • Review, draft, and negotiate various supplier and vendor contracts, including SaaS, professional services, consulting, and marketing agreements. • Respond to inquiries regarding terms in existing contracts and assist stakeholders in understanding contract provisions.• Work with our Legal Operations team to help support the Legal team's use of technology tools, including CLM and AI-assisted reviews. • Contribute to developing, improving, and maintaining contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and self-help resources. • Assist with special projects to support broader Legal team initiatives and company goals. Requirements• 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract negotiation and management. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.• Process-oriented mindset with experience improving contracting workflows in a fast-paced environment. • Extraordinary organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. • Capable of working independently with minimal guidance while recognizing when to escalate issues within or outside of the Legal team.
