- Conduct regular meetings with SAFE members, applying expert knowledge of a wide range of financial plans, including advisory accounts, and products including investment and insurance products to meet member financial goals.
- Conduct analysis to understand essential facts concerning every member in order to meet that member’s specific needs.
- Compare and evaluate investment products to determine what products meet members’ needs.
- Manage and maintain well-organized client files, including all necessary documentation.
- Adhere to all regulations, compliance policies, and procedures, as stipulated by FINRA and SEC, SAFE’s contracted broker/dealer, and SAFE Credit Union.
- Effectively manage assigned sales budget responsibility with regard to volume of appointments, volume of sales, volume of gross dealer commission, and member satisfaction ratings.
- Prepare legible, concise, consistent, and well-organized transaction paperwork.
- Establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with management and staff assigned to branch offices.
- Support and promote the platform annuity program through mentoring, training, and coaching of licensed branch employees; review of platform annuity production generated through assigned branches; and conduct of weekly in-person meetings with assigned licensed branch employees.
- Maintain professional relationships with product wholesalers, remaining current on features and trends in product design, implementation, and selling techniques.
- Offer consistent, professional member service through direct, phone, electronic, and written communication.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Securities License Series 7/66 or Series 7/63/65.
- California Life Insurance & Variable Annuity License.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to give professional customer communication, both on the telephone and in-person.
- Ability to manage multiple significant tasks in an efficient manner.
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and complete projects in an organized and timely manner.
- Ability to analyze the individual financial needs of members and assist them in finding the best solutions.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening skills, and empathy).
- Expert ability to build relationships with other leaders, business partners, and stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
