Key Responsibilities
• Prepare individual and/or business tax returns
• Conduct virtual tax interviews using company-approved software
• Communicate effectively with clients through phone, email, and portal messaging
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax regulations
• Maintain excellent client service and timely follow-ups
• Protect client confidentiality and adhere to IRS guidelines
Qualifications
• Prior tax preparation experience (1+ years preferred)
• PTIN required (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Comfortable using tax software
• Customer-service driven and detail-oriented
