Sr. Accountant - Manufacturing

MGR Accounting Recruiters, a Teamshares network company, is searching for a Sr. Accountant for a client in San Antonio. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and analysis efficiency to support the company’s growth and financial health. Company located on the SE side of San Antonio. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory standards. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Reconcile balance sheets, bank accounts, and general ledger accounts. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide actionable insights. Support audits by coordinating with internal and external auditors. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and financial reporting.
