As a Sales Scheduler - Solar and Roofing, you will engage with homeowners to convert their interest in solar energy into actionable steps, facilitating their transition to sustainable energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to homeowners who had prior appointments or interest in solar
- Conduct quality assurance conversations to understand the homeowner’s previous experience and address any lingering hesitations
- Identify and address hesitations or challenges that prevented homeowners from moving forward previously
- Re-engage and reschedule homeowners with a solar professional
- Support the preparation of solar designs and contracts
- Maintain accurate records of homeowner’s interactions
- Meet or exceed performance goals related to engagement, reschedules and conversations
- Occasional visits to the office location for training and team building events – otherwise position is 95% remote
Skills
- Must be 18 years of age and HS Diploma
- Professional and friendly phone demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, coachable and driven to succeed
- Comfortable with technology and willingness to learn new tools – experience with Excel a plus
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Prior experience in customer outreach, call center or sales support
