Responsibilities
- Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
- Develops and implements clinical information systems education
- Develops, implements and maintain orientation and annual competencies organization wide for staff and managers
- Creates and implements oreintation for clinical staff and students
- Serves as a resource for staff on practice issues and the online education center, Relias.
- Serves as a practicum/clinical mentor for BSN and MSN students and other disciplines as required
- Promotes certification attainment to staff and managers
- Assists in the development and implementation of clinical competencies for all clinical staff
- Participates in the review and development of patient education materials
- Assists in identifying and developing online educational programs for all staff
- Collabores with Quality to present outcome based programs
- Provides ongoing education and updates of education curricula
- Adheres to the organization's policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
- Other duties as assigned
- Masters degree required
- 3+ years of community health nurse experience preferred 3+ years of experience as a Clinical Educator preferred
- Knowledge of HomeCare HomeBase a plus
- Excellent teaching and computer skills
- Strong organizational, customer service and interpersonal skills
