General Description:

The Nursing Student Success Coordinator (NSSC) collaborates with the nursing faculty and staff to facilitate student success for all students enrolled in the nursing program by providing academic assistance. The NSSC works with students who seek assistance and coordinates with nursing faculty that refer students for additional academic support. The individual must possess a commitment to student success, and strong interpersonal, advising, public speaking, and data management skills. The individual must also possess the ability to work as a member of a team and exercise exceptional organizational skills, independent judgment, initiative, and confidentiality.

Specific Duties: * Collaborates with nursing faculty to develop and implement alternative learner success experiences to include tutoring, time management, stress management, reading and studying, and test-taking skills. Requirements:

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing, Master's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Experience: Minimum five years nursing experience. Minimum of two years teaching strongly preferred.
