Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based individual psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, psychodynamic, etc.) to an adult outpatient population via our secure telehealth platform.
• Conduct initial clinical assessments, establish therapeutic goals, and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical progress notes within our intuitive, modern EHR.
• Collaborate asynchronously via Slack with Aurora's psychiatric team (MDs and NPs) for coordinated, holistic client care when medication management is involved.
Requirements
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. (Note: Due to billing/compliance structures, we cannot accept LMSW or limited-permit applicants at this time).
• Demonstrated experience in outpatient individual psychotherapy with adults.
• A dedicated, private home office space with a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a professional, quiet background.
• Tech-Savviness: Highly comfortable navigating modern cloud-based EHRs, video platforms, and secure asynchronous team communication tools (e.g., Slack).
