Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. VEZA Manufacturing is a mid-sized, growth-oriented manufacturer focused on technical excellence and customer partnership. They are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to lead growth with their most important customers, combining strategic sales and technical product knowledge to retain and expand long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
- Own a defined portfolio of strategic accounts and serve as primary executive-level point of contact
- Develop and execute account plans that align customer goals with company capabilities; identify growth opportunities, new programs, product line expansion, and long-term roadmaps
- Manage full sales lifecycle for complex, repeatable contracts: forecasting, pricing, negotiation, contract renewals, and order management
- Translate customer technical needs into clear internal requirements, working closely with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain to ensure manufacturability, cost competitiveness, and on-time delivery
- Contribute to commercial reviews, business reviews, and senior stakeholder meetings
- Mentor and influence internal teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience
Skills
- 7+ years of B2B account management or strategic sales experience, preferably in cable/wire harness, interconnects, electromechanical assemblies, or related manufacturing
- Proven track record managing large, complex accounts and delivering multi-year program wins
- Technical fluency in wire-harness design and manufacturing processes (assembly, harness routing, overmolding, terminals, crimping, cable materials) or ability to quickly gain this knowledge
- Strong commercial acumen: contract negotiation, pricing, margin analysis, and forecasting
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with executive stakeholders on both sides
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and project management skills
- Willingness to travel (domestic and international as required)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IPC standards) and DFMEA/PPAP processes
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce)
