Key Responsibilities Execute the physical installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial rooftops according to design specifications and electrical codes. Mount solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical equipment securely and safely. Perform wiring and connection of solar panels to inverters and electrical systems. Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, building codes, and our client's stringent safety protocols. Conduct system checks and basic testing to verify proper installation and functionality. Manage project timelines and inventory of materials required for each installation site. Communicate effectively with project managers regarding project status, challenges, and completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are handled properly. Adhere to all safety guidelines, including working at heights, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) diligently. Troubleshoot and resolve minor installation issues as they arise, escalating complex problems as needed. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical work, construction, or solar installation is highly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in solar panel installation or a related field (e.g., electrical, roofing). Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and installation guides. Solid understanding of electrical principles, wiring, and safety codes (NEC). Experience with mounting systems and various roofing types. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of productivity. Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
