A full-time Physical Therapist position is available working with K-12 students in a school setting located in Carlsbad, NM. This contract role focuses on delivering telehealth and in-person physical therapy services to support students' motor skill and sensory motor development.
Key responsibilities include:
• Evaluating students physical abilities and needs within the K-12 population
• Developing and implementing corrective and preventative therapy plans
• Collaborating with educational and support staff to promote student progress and well-being
• Monitoring and documenting student progress to ensure therapeutic goals are met
Qualifications and experience sought:
• Active New Mexico Physical Therapist (PT) License required
• New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) License preferred
• Experience working with school-aged children in physical therapy
• Familiarity with telehealth service delivery in an educational environment is a plus
