Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Scout Global is a hyper-growth AI start-up seeking a Sales Engineer to assist companies in evaluating and scaling AI solutions. The role involves collaborating with various teams to lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects, ultimately helping customers maximize their AI investments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to support customers throughout the sales process
- Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer goals and technical requirements
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Guide customers on AI and Generative AI best practices
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) projects from planning through to completion
- Help customers evaluate and improve their AI applications and workflows
- Address technical questions and work with Product and Engineering teams to find solutions
- Share customer feedback to help shape future product development
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing presales role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar
- Based around the Bay Area
- Good experience within a start-up environment
- Experience with Python and/or TypeScript
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with MLOps, Data Engineering, or Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based AI frameworks
- Comfortable working with customers and cross-functional teams
- A strong problem solver who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges
- Passionate about AI and excited by emerging technologies
