Red River is a company focused on innovative IT solutions, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative to generate interest in their service offerings. This role involves making cold calls, qualifying sales leads, and setting up appointments for Account Executives, providing a great opportunity to gain sales experience and potentially advance to an Account Executive position.
Responsibilities
- Uncover opportunities for Account Executives to sell innovative offerings for IT Managed Services, Cloud, Cyber Security, Voice solutions and More
- Make effective use of the telephone, email, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Outreach IO, social media and other sales tools
- Work to achieve monthly quotas for qualified sales opportunities
- Work closely with the Sales team to schedule meetings and uncover new sales opportunities
- Work closely with marketing to manage inbound sales leads and develop pipeline
- Live and breathe Outreach for lead and opportunity management
Skills
- 1-3 years of sales experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to prospect for new business by phone on a daily basis
- Ability to build professional rapport by telephone, email, and LinkedIn with prospects at Executive, or C level
- Ability to uncover opportunities via phone conversation, email, LinkedIn through probing questions
- Projects confidence with strong communication skills
- Ability to establish and build rapport with potential new clients
- Strong ability to work in a team-based environment
- Ability to be a self-starter and possess good time management skills
- Be resilient, coach-able, and natural at prospecting
- Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task
- Have a strong focus on day-to-day operational excellence
- Have a personal style that builds trust and inspires loyalty
- Should be motivated, proactive, and an active listener
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Preferred experience using Outreach IO, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn - Sales Navigator
