Val's Services is seeking a Curriculum Sales Consultant responsible for promoting and selling the new core curriculum program, Takeoff by IXL, to educators and districts. The role involves building relationships with key stakeholders and delivering presentations while understanding customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Introduce the math curriculum to new and existing customers
- Collaborate with sales teams to strategize, present, and execute sales efforts within assigned regions
- Build strong relationships with educators, administrators, and key stakeholders
- Understand customer needs to provide personalized support during the sales and adoption process
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrate proficient knowledge of IXL products
- Stay informed on market trends and assist with district and state adoption efforts
Skills
- BA/BS degree with 3+ years of EdTech sales experience, particularly in K-12 core curriculum
- Over 5 years of teaching or administrative experience, preferably with a background in Math
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Tech-savvy with a passion for educational technology integration
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 85% and reside within 45 minutes of a major airport
