In this Project Manager role, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of divisional projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and track detailed project schedules, milestones and deliverables using project management tools
- Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Marketing, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and Operations
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule risks, resource constraints and potential delays; escalate issues as appropriate
- Support project planning activities, including timeline development, resource planning and project documentation
- Facilitate project meetings, document action items and follow up to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
- Consolidate inputs from team members and stakeholders to maintain accurate project schedules and status reports
- Track project metrics, deliverables and dependencies to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Assist in resource management activities, including tracking team capacity, assignments and project workload across multiple initiatives
- Prepare and communicate project status updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with established business and quality processes
- Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project coordination, project management or a related field
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and managing project schedules and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to organize work, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira or similar platforms
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking milestones and monitoring project performance
- Understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functional teams
- Ability to identify risks, resolve issues and proactively follow up on project action items
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project documentation
- Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated environments
- Experience in a regulated industry and familiarity with product development processes
- Experience supporting product development or commercialization projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functional teams
