They are seeking a proven Program Manager to lead the successful execution of government programs, manage large projects, and interface with clients and internal departments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for government clients on one or more contracts
- Oversee program delivery, staffing, contract performance, and budget execution
- Manage cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and remote personnel
- Track and report on KPIs, milestones, risks, and financial metrics
- Lead the development and delivery of program reports, technical deliverables, and client briefings
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and security standards
- Participate in capture management, proposal development, and business development
- Develop and mentor junior staff
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field
- 8–12 years of total experience, with 3–6 years in program/project management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client engagement skills
- This is a remote position but the requires residing within the Washington D.C. area
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft and SharePoint
