Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. The Principal Account Executive will focus on increasing adoption of AWS by developing strategic accounts with Fortune 2000 companies, driving revenue and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
- Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan
- Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
- Accelerate customer adoption
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
- Manage contract negotiations
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Expect moderate travel
Skills
- Experience in generating new opportunities with strong focus on pipeline tracking and deal execution through entire sales cycle
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects
- 10+ years of cloud sales experience to enterprise customers
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience engaging with and selling to executive level customers
- Experience across at least one industry vertical (manufacturing, energy, oil & gas, etc.)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience with AWS technologies
