Peak Nano is a company established in 2016 that focuses on bringing patented nanotechnology to commercial applications across various industries. They are seeking a Marketing Operations Developer to manage the backend architecture of their HubSpot portal, integrating AI tools and ensuring effective marketing and sales workflows.
Responsibilities
- Support CSS styling and backend templating for HubSpot CMS pages and modules (working within the CMS framework, not owning full page builds)
- Assist with technical SEO implementation as needed, in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager, who owns SEO strategy
- Build and maintain API/webhook integrations between HubSpot and other systems (internal databases, AI agent platforms)
- Design, build, and troubleshoot marketing and sales workflows using native HubSpot workflow tools, including lead nurturing, lifecycle stage automation, and internal notifications
- Build nurture and webinar workflows, including close integration with Zoom Webinars
- Build and optimize sales pipeline stage automation, deal automation, and sales/marketing handoff logic (SLAs)
- Maintain lead scoring models and lifecycle stage management
- Manage list segmentation strategy and audience targeting logic
- Own CRM data hygiene: deduplication, data quality automation, and database architecture (properties, associations, custom objects)
- Manage user roles, permissions, and portal governance across teams
- Ensure compliance with GDPR/CAN-SPAM requirements in forms, workflows, and data handling
- Build custom reports and dashboards across contacts, deals, and campaigns
- Support attribution modeling and revenue reporting logic
- Connect HubSpot data to BI tools (Looker, Power BI) as needed
- Document workflows, automations, and technical processes to build institutional knowledge
- Translate marketing and sales requests into technical specifications, and vice versa
- QA and test all workflow, template, and automation changes before pushing live
Skills
- 3+ Years of professional experience
- Hands-on HubSpot experience (CMS, Workflows, Operations Hub, Sales Hub)
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, and integrating third-party tools
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with CRM data structures
- Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python
- Experience building or integrating AI agents/automation (HubSpot's native AI tools or custom agents via API)
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- HubL/Jinja templating experience
- Comfortable working within a low-code/no-code marketing platform
- Excellent documentation habits and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong QA/testing discipline
- HubSpot certifications (CMS for Developers, Marketing Software, RevOps)
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI, for reporting beyond native HubSpot dashboards
- Experience with a CRM migration or large-scale data cleanup project
- Experience with Claude Co-work, Code, Designer, experience with Cursor, Vercel, and Lovable is a plus
- Claude Certified Architect qualification
- Integration experience with the NetSuite platform
