Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dexory is transforming the warehousing and logistics industry through data intelligence. As Legal Counsel, you will take ownership of a broad range of legal and compliance work, focusing on commercial contracting and engaging directly with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Commercial Contracting: Draft, review and negotiate customer and supplier contracts for the US/North America, acting as the company’s lead negotiator in commercial discussions
- Supplier & Procurement Support: Work with Procurement, IT and the wider business to review supplier agreements, advise on terms, conduct risk assessments and secure all necessary approvals
- Compliance: Assist the General Counsel in ensuring that Dexory’s operations and activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations across our operating markets
- Programme Development: Develop, implement and support compliance programmes and training initiatives across the business
- Litigation Support: Support the General Counsel in managing any disputes, litigation or other legal proceedings involving the company
Skills
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one state bar
- Mandatory experience in commercial contract management and negotiation
- Experience as an in-house legal practitioner, ideally within a technology or SaaS business
- Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear, practical advice and influence non-legal stakeholders
- Able to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Knowledge of US employment law, including right-to-work checks and visa sponsorship processes
- Exposure to international employment law across multiple jurisdictions
